European Business Summit 2009

Ambassador Odano Speaking at the Summit

The European Business Summit took place on the 26 - 27 March in Brussels.

The theme of the Summit was 'Dare and Take Care: Sustaining Europe's ambitions - Financing, Staffing and Greening'.

Ambassador Odano spoke on the subject of 'Aging and Health: pay for the Grey?

Ambassador Odano explained Japan's declining birthrate, increasingly aging population, policy for social welfare and foreign labour and investment in research and development.
